Mexico: Some Time in Tulum

In our North American Winter we traveled to sunny, warm Mexico (again) for what has now become an annual tradition. Our stop in the seaside resort town Tulum was part-1 of the "2019 Playing in the Sand" extravaganza, and we entered the country with our close friends Marcy and Woz.

We spent several nights in a luxurious oceanfront boutique hotel (fancy-shmancy) with an upper, open-air, private area that was decked out with a large hot tub, lounge chairs, and a sky or ocean view!

We took long beach walks on the sparkling sand!

This was just the pre-show appetizer, and we headed off for the next stop on the agenda - the Barcelo Maya, for year two of PITS (see next post).
